It has been nice here and ours are just beginning to peak out of the ground. I woke up at 5:45, 15 minutes before my alarm and wondered why I woke up early. I still do not know for sure if it was the earthquake (we had many reports here as well) that woke me or if it was just a coincidence. ~~Hi Crricket! I bet it was the quake that woke you. Sounds like black cats are usually "Walk ONs". Our neighbors have a walk on black cat named Ms. Kitty and sometimes called Kitty Girl. Have you named yours yet since you have been feeding it all winter? Maybe the cat was taking a good look at the wooden bird so he would be able to recognize the real thing. As for the quake, in my muddled state of waking up I thought it was an unusual loud thunder but Prince stated very non chalant that "its an earthquake". Just how he knew. As a matter of fact, our son-in-law felt it. He said the bed shook. Also, some friends at my yoga class yesterday said they felt their beds shake. They all clocked it right at 4:30 AM. I was working the the Justice center as a corrections officer when we felt a quake that was out in lake Erie,our building was shakeing a little and one of my fellow officers said what's that?
