Look & Explain
This is to be my first attempt at a Show and Tell Look and Explain. I hope you will like it.
This is my collection of Hard Rock Cafe pins. There are a couple other pins in my case as well. Also notice two concert tickets I have saved. First the tickets….in the upper right hand corner is my ticket to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inaugural concert Sept. 2, 1995, Cleveland Stadium. Bruce Springsteen, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Martha and the Vandellas, John Mellencamp were a few I remember. The ticket in the lower left of my case is for Bob Dylan. I saw him just last summer, when to my surprise, my daughter and son-in-law presented me with 4 tickets as a birthday present. I was quite surprised because my birthday is in December (LOL) of course we took them along. Bob Dylan is a born again christian now and he did a lot of his own brand of christian music. It was awesome, I thought my chance to see one of my old “folk singing heros” was gone forever. Now for the pins…I used to travel extensively throughout the US. I designed and sold giftware. I would bet if you have ever shopped Walmart, Joann Fabrics, QVC, Menards, and so on for a gift you most likely have something I have designed. I would design a piece and it would be sent to China to be manufactured. Just some background on why I once tread all over this country. Each city that I went to, I would visit the Hard Rock and purchase the city pin. My collection includes:(in no particular order) Whistler British Columbia Canada, Atlantic City NJ, Honolulu Hawaii, St. Thomas US Virgin Islands, Boston Mass, New York NY, Vancouver BC Canada, Dallas Tx, Los Angeles Ca, Atlanta Ga, Indianapolis In, Memphis Tn, New Orleans La, San Diego Ca, Chicago Il, Nashville Tn, Las Vegas Nv,Baltimore Md, Cleveland Oh, Minneapolis Mn, Shanghai China, Puerto Vallarta Mexico, Kowloon Hong Kong, Hollywood Ca, I also have a few planet Hollywood pins and some special event pins like Olympic pins, Pro Football HOF pins and even a pin from FAO Schwartz. There is nothing very special about any particular pin, they just remind me that my life has been filled with opportunity. I have seen so many amazing things, been to so many places, and met the most wonderful people…I have truely been blessed beyond measure. This was a whole different life ago, when I was young and adventurous. I am happy now to be a stay at home, Grandma on call. I am living the best part of my life right now, I love being a homemaker/ housewife. I am grateful that I have seen so much of what life has to offer. I am Thankful for the Amazing life I now have. Well thats it, I hope you enjoyed my first attempt at a Show and Tell Look and Explain.
I have received two really nice friendship awards from Mary stop by and visit. She is a tremendous writer and has been writing about Black History Month and some of what slaves endured as many made their way to Canada.

This was given to all her friends who supported her daughter, Michelle, in prayer. THANKS MARY!
This one She created, and it was awarded back to her…twice! I am linking it to her! She generously passed this one out to those who comment regularly on her blog. THANKS MARY!
SORRY to everyone who used Mr.Linky but I received this email from Kelli (the hostess):
Good Morning!
I know that other memes allow additional Mr. Linkys to be posted, but I’d like to keep the one on my blog as the only one. I’d appreciated it if you took it off your post, thanks!
Have a great day!
~Kelli
So I took him off…..
After considerable thought I have decided not to play along. I asked Kelli to remove me. Sorry for the confusion.

I like the hard rock pin collection. I have a couple of collection of my own they are off the wall key holders with fun sayins such as I’m not a happy camper. I aslo have button collection that is basically the same theme.

Do you see me? Do ya? Can you see the shade of green my body has turned just now? I’ve been to five Hard Rock Cafes…Honolulu, Washington D.C, Las Vegas, Aspen, and San Antonio’s.
Wowzers girlfriend…what an awesome collection.
My S n T is shared. If you haven’t dropped by, I sure hope you can stop and say “Howdy Do!”.
Happy Weekend to you and yours. [Ps…I intend to get out of the house and do some gift buying and I’ll let you know when they’ve been sent to you]
~ Hey girlfriend, it sure was fun hunting for my pins! No need to shop for me….I would love a copy of a picture of you and our next President…maybe with your autograph..hehe
You have a big collection, very nice.
~Hi Judy, Thanks for taking time to stop by!….Mo
I have thought about doing this VERY same thing! Only my collection isn’t anywhere NEAR the size of yours! I recognized the one from Dallas (with the white Stetson) right off the bat since I am in the Dallas/Ft Worth area! They just closed down that Hard Rock recently and tore down the historic building it was housed in! The public wasn’t thrilled about that! Welcome to S & T! It was fun visiting and seeing your great collection of pins. I have 2 from San Antonio, one has The Alamao on it and the other the Riverwalk!
Connie
~Hi Connie, don’t wait do it now..start your collection! What a shame about the historic building. Thanks for your visit and the warm welcome to show & tell….Mo

Ah, the pins are a nice remembrance of times you spent in each place. I bet you could come up with a story about the place the pins represent. I bet I have bought some of your designs. I like the tickets better as you saw ‘THE BOSS’ DOUBLE WOW.
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND. Peace
~Hi Dianne I do have the memories! That concert was unforgetable. You have a grand weekend yourself!….Mo
Wow ! what a wonderful collection !! with your post so many souvenirs came up ! I have travelled a lot through the States in the past and we went to quite a lot of Hard Rock Cafés too. I remember San Fransico, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles but probably there have been more. In Europe I was in London, and in Amsterdam. I don’t think we have a Hard Rock Café in Brussels. I still like to travel now I have enough time because I am retired too.
