Ready..Set………GO
Nothing arrives more slowly and passes more quickly than a vacation!
Who would have thought taking a vacation would be so much work. I am Thankful for the opportunity to get away for a few weeks. As most of you know, we are planning a road trip to Mesa, Arizona to visit with Sweeties folks. We wanted to take our time and see some sights along the way. We had hoped to leave on Thursday but Sweetie now has a meeting so we are looking at Friday. The weather report is showing a big snow storm arriving Thursday night into Friday so….. it may be put off until Saturday. I guess this happens when you try to vacation in the middle of winter….DUH… We have left the whole month of Feb. open so I guess it doesn’t matter when we leave. I will taking my laptop along and I have a converter so I will have power as we drive. Sweetie has made a “desk” of sorts to set the laptop on so I will be blogging the trip!
We have decided at this point to just get to Mesa without many stops and if everthing goes well we will take our time on the way back…visiting Tucson, Tombstone, places in New Mexico as neither of us have ever been there. The Alamo if time permits, we both love history and there is so much to see!

Well thats all I have to do and I am almost done except for the packing part. I hate that part. I told Sweetie I am packing light and SHOPPING. I think this will work out best,…you know, vacation in winter…. cold weather ? Warm weather?….Have a great day!
