Use Your Inside Voice
Hello to everyone! I have been lax in keeping with the Gratitude Journal these last few days. One more day with the grandchildren and grandma duty will be done! Sweetie took Andy(2 yr) to town so Grandma could get her breath! Whew! You don’t think you are old until you see the energy these children have. Keeping up is a job! Isaac(5 yr) is busy with his game cube, so Grandma thought I could sneak a few minutes online. I am Thankful for a few minutes alone! I sometimes forget what it was like to hear “mommy” all day long…that was 30 years ago! I forget what yesterday was like…LOL. I keep reminding the boys to “use your inside voice”…I mean like every 10 seconds. They are very good children, they listen well when told…my problem is telling them every 10 seconds. Sweetie even has a better memory than these little people! “could you TRY to sit still?”…”No running in the house”…”use your inside voice, please” “stop touching your brother.” “remove your feet from grandmas couch, please”…..STOP It!…STOP! …STOP! They have reduced my vocabulary…LOL. We are having a great time it just takes a little getting used to! Sunday is a day of rest, and I for one am looking forward to it!….Have a great Day! and use your inside voice!
