Heart Surgery Today
It’s beginning to look a little (very little) like Christmas. They were calling for snow, last night and today. 1 to 3 inches for us. Well…I can still see the grass and it looks like the front is through. I was putting off finishing my holiday decorating, waiting on the snow. I planned to finish today while it snowed and I listened to Old Time Radio Christmas programs. I guess I will have to do it without the snow.
I mentioned my Uncle and his heart problems last thursday. I thank you for all the prayers. He is having open heart surgery today and it is very risky. Please continue in prayer for him, he is very important to us. Yesterday was his 51st wedding anniversary. He wanted so much to take my Aunt somewhere. He spent their day in the hospital…waiting, just waiting. I know God has a plan, as He always does but waiting is hard. I am trusting God to guide the surgeons and I pray there is more for my Uncle on this earth.
I am Thankful today that we have the privilege of trusting God. Have you ever had a relationship where trust was compromised? We never have to worry about that with God. He is Faithful. I am Thankful that God does the most amazing Heart Surgery.

I will put yourUncle in my prayers. He is in the Healers hands. We got about 4 inches of snow. I think I will start decorating. It now seems like Christmas.
I have been praying for your uncle. I wondered how he was doing. We also got snow today. It actually started last night and I woke up to 4 inches on the ground and my car was pulled down in beside the house. I could not get it out so I had to call a tow truck, this was 7am. By the time it arrived at 11:10am, we had 2 1/2 more inches of snow. My brother helped me put up the outside decorations on Sunday so the yard looked beautiful with all the snow. Although to be honest, I can enjoy Christmas without snow. Snow is nice if you can stay home and enjoy “looking” at it. It is a pain when you have to “deal” with it going to work. One of my all time favorite sayings is, if I never see snow again it will one day too soon!
Thanks For your Prayers Cricket and Joyce. I got a call at 8:30 pm. Uncle is out of surgery and in recovery. It has been a very long day. He is doing well. The Surgeon said they had a little more trouble than they thought. They had to replace some stints Uncle had gotten previously. We are still praying, as this is quite a recovery ordeal. He is critical.
