Baby , It’s Cold Outside
Baby it’s cold outside! I had 24 degrees this morning. I don’t know if I am ready for this. It has stayed warm longer than usual and it doesn’t take long for me to get spoiled. I really don’t like wearing a heavy coat. All the bulk bothers me. It is still good to be home. Yesterday was full of phone calls, touching base and catching up after being gone a few days. Did any one watch Dancing with the Stars last night. Silly question, of course you did, everyone did. LOL. I am curious to know what everyone thinks. I am glad Helio won. I liked Mel B as well but hey, I’m from Indiana and Helio is an adopted home town boy. I thought he did a great job and he was so fun to watch.
I am off to the eye doctor today. My new glasses are ready. I had my eyes checked last week. I have been wearing glasses since I was six years old. It is always an ordeal. For those of you who don’t know… I am night blind. I am not talking about the glare of headlights bothering me at night I am talking about real night blindness. I can’t walk in the dark! LOL. This was my first trip to this eye doctor. I had all the preliminary tests. When the tech was done she was so cute… She asked very softly “Do you have trouble driving at night?” I just kind of giggled and said “I have trouble walking at night!” She said I thought so. I gave up driving at night almost 10 years ago. The eye doctor checked everthing and said my right eye has reached it’s limit, he can’t correct it any further, but he could adjust the bifocal. YEAH! Reading has been a challenge lately. I am always increasing the font size on the laptop. I am Thankful today that I will be able to see better. I am also Thankful that I won’t have to have my pupils dialated. That is no fun at all. They always say it will affect your sight for about an hour or so…huh? More like 5 or 6 for me.
I hope everyone has a great day today. It will be a short week for me, because of the drive home from Tupelo on Monday I will be missing a day all week. LOL……………….Life IS Good!

I don’t know if I would like warm weather all the time. I do like it to cool down, but I tire of cold weather quickly. It is 25F here today brrrrrrr.

I don’t like it this cold. I am having to do my morning walk inside a school. Yes, I am grateful I have a warm place to walk, but I would much rather be outside.
I am thankful it isn’t any colder than it is. Stephen,my son in Minnesota is experiencing 6 and 7 degrees in the morning and he rides his bike to the bus stop. Ok, I really do have much to be thankful for when you look at it that way.
I think Mel B was ripped off. Helio was good, he was fun to watch, but Mel was dynamite!! Well, that is my 2cents worth!
