Trip to Tupelo
I am still trying to catch up on my posts…We got up about 3 am Friday morning and left for Tupelo Mississippi about 4 am. Coldest day of the year so far. It was 26 degrees when we left Indiana. I NEVER shop on black friday so I was quite surprized to see all the trffic at 4 in the morning. We passed the outlet mall and I have never seen so many cars over there. We had a nice drive and made it to Tupelo just after noon central time. Olivia (10 months) was sound asleep. We had to wait to cuddle her. It was not the best weekend for little Olivia. She struggled with a fever and runny nose. It was still nice to play with her a little. Saturday, we went over to see Sweeties son and his family. It was a very nice visit, Dad and son checked out all the latest toys (no children here) We spent Saturday afternoon at the Tupelo flea market…what fun! We found lots of bargains. I found a beautiful lap quilt for $40 that I was able to dicker down to $18 Now thats a bargain! We found some nice things and good deals for Christmas. Sunday morning, Olivia was really sick. Brandy called the doctor. We finally got her fever to break around noon. By early evening she was feeling pretty good and lots of fun to play with! We were up at 4 am this morning and on the road by 5, hoping to make it home by 4 this afternoon. It is a rainy dreary day and not so nice for travelling.I am Thankful today, that we had the chance to visit with the kids. It makes for a long weekend but it was so good to see everyone. Sweetie leaves for Ohare tomorrow and will be out there all week. I am glad he had some time with his kids, he misses them so much…………Life IS Good
