The Marvels of Creation

I am Thankful today for the much needed rain! Like many parts of the country, our rainfall here in Indiana is much below normal. Tim mowed the yard on Saturday, it was like a dust storm in Kansas! The rain coming down is bringing many leaves along for the ride. The wind is catapulting acorns and hickory nuts through the air. It makes me ponder…..we look at fall and think it is the end of the beautiful green trees, the rainbows of flowers, our lush gardens filled with good things to eat. While I think on these things it occurs to me, our fall must be God’s spring. The trees are reseeding themselves, the flowers as well. They will replant and then rest. Seems like there is always a rest after creation. This side of the earth will sleep until the sun moves close again…then everything will bud and bloom and bare fruit again. I see the spiritual truth here…as we move closer to the SON we begin to bud, to bloom,to bare fruit. The marvels of Creation….Life IS Good!

How true you are about this time of year. In my part of Indiana we got a good rain but did not keep the farmers out of the field. We did not get the wind you had. I can hear the acorns as you describe them. We will really enjoy Spring when it comes.
Love and Hugs,
Joyce
