Time Flies
Well here we are again, Another Monday morning! Time seems to fly by so quickly! I am Thankful today for the nice weekend. Tim is off again, to Milwaukie then on to Chicago. I am thankful that he is able to get home on the weekends! We had a fun time on Saturday. We both had lots to do in the morning and early afternoon so we got right at it. We went out for a leisurely dinner in Bloomington. The town was a flurry of activity with all the IU students returning for fall. It made me think, summer is almost over. Where has it gone? I still have part of a fence to paint! After church on Sunday we went to Bob and Mindy’s to pick tomatoes….yes, more tomatoes! Today I will can them. I am thankful that the weather is not so hot and humid anymore as I like to have the windows open while I can. It promises to be another busy week! but….Life IS Good
I am grateful for all the beautiful vegetables that continue to grow in the garden. I am grateful that there is so much that Steve and I are able to share with quite a few family and friends. Wow, the little grape tomotoes are especially delicious this year. I am also grateful that I have the energy to put some of them in the freezer. I am also grateful for Mo, for many reasons but in this case -without her I don’t think I would put much of the vegetables in the freezer. Much more fun and less time consuming with a friend.
