My quiet Life of Normal
I am Thankful today that things are about to get back to normal. After Tim being gone for ten days, company for another four, the big holiday weekend, I am ready for my quiet life again. I have a quilt that needs to be finished and a set of four chairs and a table I must have painted by August 1st. Why do the summer months seem to go so quickly, while the winter months go on so long? I think because there is so much more I want to get accomplished when the weather is nice. I go out on the deck and pretty soon I am pulling a weed in the flower garden, then another and another…. This flower is not getting enough sun so I move it. Before you know it I have spent an hour or two playing in my garden. I guess I get too distracted when the weather is so beautiful! Tim is off to work again and I will have to get going myself. Normal sure is comfortable. I like it a lot!
I am thankful for the beautiful weather! It is amazing after the hot, humid days we have had recently. I am thankful I was able to enjoy my lunch hour at the park… lovely. I am thankful for my job but praying God will help me accomplish all that I need to do this week, it seems overwhelming at this moment. So with that I will say goodbye until tomorrow.
